Studio/Shop Space in Process

Over the course of the last year I have spent more hours than I would like know working on remodeling an old creamery into my shop/studio. The goal is to have a wood shop, metal shop, spray room, etching room, sandblasting room, office, showroom, etc.

It has been so much fun fixing up this building, it has such a rich history for me. My grandma worked at the creamery when she was 20. When I was young my dad created it into a haunted house (one year I was the skeleton that arose out of the coffin.)

One of the first huge steps was getting a new tin roof on to keep the rain and snow out.

The next big step was to remove all of the "junk" that was stored in there for 35+ years. The next steps included adding windows, moving doors, removing walls, insulating, wiring, air-lines, and dry-walling.

There is still a long way to go, including in-floor heat in the new concrete, but the important hurdle that has been crossed is that I can work in the space with mild inconvenience as opposed to frustration.
